Booking Policy
- The Houseboat has limited facilities and please do not compare with Hotels and Home
- Make sure about all your belongings before leaving the houseboat, further claims will not be entertained.
- Guests will have no access to Kitchen and self-cooking is prohibited. To cook additional food of guest choice will carry extra cost and service charges which should be settled directly to the boat crew before getting off.
- As a safety measure, guests must strictly adhere to the instructions of crew members while check-in, check-out, cruising, anchoring and docking of the houseboat.
- Single or Double occupancy is available in each room.
- If the AC breaks down due to unexpected technical snag, stay in the same boat continues on Non AC terms and the client is eligible for reimbursement of maximum up to Rs 2000.
- If the houseboat causes any damage due to the carelessness of the guests, their children or wards must be compensated by guests to the houseboat owner before leaving.
- Booking offices / agents / tour operators has to explain and make aware the customer in advance about houseboat overnight stay terms and conditions while accepting or conforming reservations to avoid all sorts of miscommunication thereafter.
- Day Houseboat (Day Cruise) – Check-In – 10 AM Check Out – 4.00 PM. Management is not responsible for late arrival and earlier departure
- Day and Night Houseboat (Day and Night Cruise) – Check-In – 11.30 AM Check Out – 8.30 AM. Management is not responsible for late arrival and earlier departure
- Overnight Houseboat (overnight Cruise) – Check-In – 5.00 PM Check Out – 8.30 AM. Management is not responsible for late arrival and early departure
- Lunch with Houseboat (Lunch Cruise) – Check-In – 12.00 PM Check Out – 3 PM. Management is not responsible for late arrival and early departure
- Dinner with Houseboat (Dinner Cruise) – Check-In – 5 PM Check-Out – 9 PM. Management is not responsible for late arrival and early departure
- Sunset Houseboat (Sunset Cruise) – Check-In – 4.30 PM Check-Out – 6. 30 PM. Management is not responsible for late arrival and early departure
- Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not Kerala Bekal Houseboat.
- We do not take any responsibility for any loss, injury or damage to person or anything due to any incidents beyond our control.
- Children responsibility and security entirely vested upon guardians while their stay at houseboat.
- Houseboat appointments are acknowledged by the operators. We will acknowledge the statements after checking with them. Incase the operator acknowledges some other appointments through various source and if you have done the payment we will discount the amount you have paid.
- We are only providing online platform for booking houseboats in Nileshwar (Bekal) and at no time do we act as managers for your respective responsibilities and personal obligations. We are therefore not responsible for your acts, misdemeanor, omissions and neither are we responsible for managing any of your personal affairs; for example, we are not responsible for ensuring the safety of your personal belongings, travel documents, etc. at any time before the commencement of the cruise or after it or during the cruise.
- No responsibility will be taken by Kerala Bekal Houseboat regarding the standard for any service and all bookings are made subject to the terms and conditions of these service providers
- Exactness Not Guaranteed-We cannot and do not guarantee the exactness of any service that may be provided to you by houseboat operator. For instance, photographs of the interiors of the houseboat rooms posted on our website have been sourced from the respective Houseboat owners/management, the visual appeal of a room selected by you cannot and is not guaranteed by us. Similarly, while we assure you of enjoyable holidays, we cannot and do not guarantee or represent that such backwater tour will be as per your mental perception, imagination or thought about such tours.
- Please do not drop sanitary napkins, Plastics and other insoluble things in the closet
- kindly cooperate with the crew, so that they can serve you better
- All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Kannur courts only.
