CANCELLATION POLICY
ADVANCE PAYMENTS:
For all the Houseboat Packages certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on a confirmed basis & the balance amount can be paid upon arrival in NILESHWAR (before check in houseboat) but definitely before the commencement of the services. Management personnel holds the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the houseboat package & the time left for the commencement of the packages.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
In the event of cancellation of Houseboat Packages services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, This fee will be the percentage of the total estimated expenses and will be on a sliding scale as follows
- 100% refund for cancellation 15 days prior to travel
- 85% refund for cancellation 15-10 days prior to travel
- 75% refund for cancellation 15-7 days prior to travel
- 60% refund for cancellation 15-5 days prior to travel
- 50% refund for cancellation 15-3 days prior to travel
- 30% refund for cancellation 15-2 days prior to travel
- 0% refund for cancellation 1-0 days prior to travel
Note
- The refund will be made on the basic tariff only.
- There will be a 10% Processing Fee applied.
POLICY AND CONDITIONS
- If the customer is unable to reach the date/time of your booking in the Boarding place, whatever the reason may be, no amount will be refunded under any circumstances and you cannot claim your amount on this issue.
- If you are postponing your booking, it will be considered as a cancellation under the cancellation policy.
- In case your a/c is not working in any rooms, an amount of Rs.1000/- will be refunded by the boat owners during the check out time.
- In case your booked boat has any technical failure, then we will allocate the same quality alternate boat on time, but downgrade if happened then based on that category, the charge will be applicable. But the Upper deck and Non-upper deck boat will not consider as a downgrade, so no refund allowed.
- If the Boat owner is not able to provide the houseboat on the scheduled date/time of your booking, Kerala Bekal houseboat assures you that you will be provided another boat of the same class/category at the same time.
- Refunds only through cheque for bookings made by cash/cheque/bank transfer.
- It may take a minimum of 3-10 working days to get refunds for the bookings made through cheque/debit/credit cards via cheque only.
- The original receipt must be presented at the time of processing the refund.
